We carry out numerous and varied elements of both maintenance and renovations. A large proportion of housing in Bristol is aged now and require external maintenance works at roof level with parapet walls being particularly susceptible to neglect and water incursions. As well as carrying out external works at roof height, we also address issues related to cracked and damaged rendering. Assistance can be provided with the co-ordination of different trades if required or we can assist with particular aspects of your project.
There are photos of internal renovation works included in the case study - period renovation and the carpentry/ joinery section. Muti - skilled and experienced JS Carpentry and Build have a good working knowledge of the Bristol housing stock and the kind of difficulties and issues that arise when working on these buildings. Problem-solving is all part of a days work as well as working out appropriate and efficient solutions. There are always a few surprises thrown up but experience and a chat over a cuppa with colleagues is a tried and tested method. Structural engineers are of course required for all structural works and Building Control compliance.
